The Warehouse Gym Oranmore Named Finalist at the 2025 ICE Awards
We’re proud to share that The Warehouse Gym Oranmore was named a finalist in the 2025 Irish Construction Excellence (ICE) Awards, in the category of ‘Fitout or Refurbishment Up to €2 Million’.
This nomination recognised the transformative expansion and refurbishment of our Oranmore location—an ambitious €1.2 million project that delivered 11,000 sq. ft. of new space, including a state-of-the-art Ladies Only Gym, the Warehouse Gym Academy, and completely revamped changing and wellness facilities.
Precision Planning Meets Performance
The project required a full gym shutdown condensed into a three-week period, with teams working around the clock in 24-hour shifts. Tasks included hoisting heavy-duty equipment through third-story windows, polishing new concrete floors, installing custom steel pods, and upgrading plumbing and electrical systems—all completed with zero disruption to our members and full compliance with fire and building codes.
A New Standard in Fitness Facility Design
Beyond the physical build, the Oranmore project was a reflection of our commitment to brand consistency, accessibility, and member experience. Every detail was thoughtfully executed—from layout and flow to materials and lighting—to create a space that is as functional as it is inspiring.
While we didn’t take home the top prize, being recognised as a finalist among Ireland’s best construction projects is an honour in itself. A massive thank you to our incredible team of designers, planners, contractors, staff—and of course, our members—for making this vision a reality.
About the ICE Awards
