PLEASE READ ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF YOUR CONTRACT, DIRECT DEBIT MANDATE AGREEMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY DECLARATION & FIRE EVACUATION PROCEDURE.

PRINCIPLE TERMS

  1. As a member you agree to comply with the rules of the gym, which are prominently displayed, with regards to use of the facilities, health and safety notifications and signage, opening hours, fire evacuation plan and your conduct. 
  2. Members are expected to act respectably at all times while using our facilities. Aggressive or unruly behavior towards staff or other gym members will not be tolerated and will result in termination of your membership. Management and Staff have the right to refuse membership to any individual without cause.
  3. All Direct Debit memberships are for 12 months and not transferable from person to person or from gym to gym unless otherwise agreed with a member of gym management.
  4. Membership card spot checks are carried out and any misuse of a membership card will result in the cancellation of the membership.
  5. An appropriate fee is charged for the replacement of lost membership cards.
  6. When signing up in The Warehouse Gym, the €20/€30 admin fee must be paid via card terminal in the Gym you are signing up to. All subsequent payments will be processed through your bank using a valid Irish IBAN. Overseas bank accounts may be declined at any stage and a replacement may be requested by a member of staff at any point.
  7. Missed payment will be reprocessed automatically and therefore cannot be paid manually at reception unless explicitly stated by gym management. If there is a build up of 3 outstanding invoices on your account, our system will immediately cancel your membership. You can sign up again at any time and will be required to pay a new admin fee.
  8. Any membership purchased on a special offer cannot be Frozen, Transferred, or Refunded.
  9. Any FREE TRIAL memberships or promotions can only be used once per person per facility.
  10. Any FREE TRIAL membership and promotions can not be used by any holder who is currently, or has held a membership with The Warehouse Gym previously.
  11. Any membership purchased online will start immediately from the date selected at checkout on the purchase of a membership. This start date cannot be altered after the purchase has been complete.
  12. No photography of any kind to be taken in The Warehouse Gym without clear, explicit permission from a member of management.
  13. Strictly only members over the age of 18 are permitted to use the recovery room and its facilities in The Warehouse Gym Knocknacarra. Anyone under the age of 18 using the recovery room and its facilities will have their membership terminated immediately.
  14.   Anyone using the recovery room and its facilities in The Warehouse Gym Knocknacarra must be in full physical health.
  15. From time to time The Warehouse Gym may make reasonable changes to these rules. 

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

  1. This agreement commences once you have completed the joining process. You will be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable for the type of membership chosen.
  2. Your membership starts immediately, unless you select a deferred Start Date. (If you are availing of a pre-opening membership rate at a new gym, your membership will start the day the gym opens)
  3. All memberships are rolling contracts with no set end date unless stated otherwise. This means that your membership will continue to renew after each period unless our cancellation terms and conditions are met.
  4. You must be at least 16 years of age to sign up for The Warehouse Gym. If you are between the ages of 16-18 years old you will need to have a parental consent disclaimer signed at reception on your first visit. You will not be permitted to train in the Gym, even if you have an active membership, until a legal guardian has signed the parental consent disclaimer. 
  5. The management of The Warehouse Gym has the right to refuse/or terminate a membership at any time without cause.
  6. The Warehouse Gym management team has the right to refuse the sale of membership to any individual without cause.
  7. The Warehouse Gym management team has the right to refuse access, or terminate an ongoing membership at any point without cause.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATIONS

  1. There will be a €20/€30 admin fee applied to any Direct Debit membership unless explicitly stated. This admin fee will cover any requests to Freeze, Transfer or Cancel a membership and is non refundable. If you wish to sign up to a new membership after a cancellation you will be required to pay a new admin fee.
  2. When you complete your membership you will have 7 days to start a fresh membership without having to pay another admin fee.
  3. Any requests to Freeze, Transfer or Cancel a membership must be requested via email or online contact form. Verbal agreements with any of our staff or management team will not suffice. If a written request is not received any Direct Debit payments you incur are not liable for reimbursement.
  4. All Direct Debit cancellation requests must be made in writing with us directly here at The Warehouse Gym via email or support contact form. Canceling a Direct Debit through your personal bank will not cancel your membership with The Warehouse Gym and any outstanding invoices are still liable for payment.
  5. Any requests to Freeze, Transfer or Cancel a membership must be sent at least 7 days prior to your next billing date. Failure to do so will result in a system delay on this request and you may be charged your next bill before action is taken.
  6. If you are away from the gym temporarily you are entitled to pause your membership up to 3 times per year.
  7. All pauses requests must be for a minimum of a 7 day period.

DIRECT DEBIT MANDATE AGREEMENT

  1. By agreeing to the terms and conditions I am agreeing to set up a Direct Debit Mandate (DDI) with my bank so The Warehouse Gym (GoCardless Payment Processor) can process payments on my account.
  2. This Direct Debit Mandate will continue for the duration of my contract or until I have terminated the Direct Debit agreement with my Bank.
  3. In all instances where I am requesting a cancellation with my Bank, I must inform The Warehouse Gym of my intent to cancel the Direct Debit. I understand that this is an agreement between myself and my bank and that any incorrect payments can be addressed to my Bank and will be guaranteed returned to my account under the Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme.

HEALTH AND SAFETY DECLARATION

  1. By agreeing to these terms and conditions In consideration of being allowed to use the facilities/equipment under the control of the Warehouse Gym.
  2. I do hereby waive release and forever discharge the Warehouse Gym from all responsibilities or liabilities from any injuries resulting from my use of its equipment.
  3. I waive any rights to claims or damages I may have against The Warehouse Gym, or any other organisations that The Warehouse Gym may associate with, whether arising from the negligence of the releases or otherwise during my participation in The Warehouse Gym training/activities/events, etc.
  4. By agreeing to these terms and conditions I declare myself to be physically sound and suffering from no impairment, condition, or illness that would prevent my participation or use of equipment, except as stated herein.
  5. I am aware and understand that participation in sport, exercise, and fitness, including the use of equipment, carries a risk to me of serious injury and even death. I voluntarily and knowingly recognize, accept and assume this risk.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

  1. We will respect your personal decisions and allow you to make your own decisions about what exercise you can carry out. However, we ask you not to exercise beyond what you consider to be your own abilities.
  2. We will make every reasonable effort to make sure that our equipment and facilities are in a safe condition for you to use and enjoy.
  3. We will take all reasonable steps to make sure that our staff are qualified to the fitness industry standards as set out by the Register of Exercise Professionals.
  4. If you tell us that you have a disability which puts you at a substantial disadvantage in accessing our equipment and facilities, we will consider what adjustments, if any, are reasonable for us to make.

YOUR COMMITMENT TO US

  1. You should not exercise beyond your own abilities. If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition which might interfere with you exercising safely, before you use our equipment and facilities you should get advice from a relevant medical professional and follow that advice.
  2. You should make yourself aware of any rules and instructions, including warning notices. Exercise carries its own risks. You should not carry out any activities which you have been told are not suitable for you.
  3. You should let us know immediately if you feel ill when using our equipment or facilities. Our staff members are not qualified doctors, but there will be a person available who has had first-aid training.
  4. If you have a disability, you must follow any reasonable instructions to allow you to exercise safely. This statement is for guidance only. It is not a legally binding agreement between you and us and does not create any obligations which you or we must meet.

FIRE EVACUATION PROCEDURE

  1. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are agreeing that you know the appropriate fire procedures for the Gym.
  2. Specifically the location of our main fire exits and the fire assembly point. You are aware that in the event of discovering a fire, you should follow the following instructions to leave the building by the nearest available exit.
  3. DO NOT stop to collect personal belongings.
  4. DO NOT return to the building until authorized to do so.
  5. DO NOT use lifts.
  6. I am aware of the Fire Assembly point outside the main entrance of the gym.

MEDIA AND IMAGERY PRIVACY POLICY

  1. At The Warehouse Gym, we value your privacy and strive to maintain a comfortable and respectful environment for all our members. We understand the importance of capturing your fitness journey through recording and photography. However, we kindly request that you adhere to the following guidelines when it comes to recording or taking pictures and publishing on social media
  2. Respect Privacy: Please be mindful of others’ privacy and seek their consent before recording or taking pictures that include them in the frame, including those in the background.
  3. Obtain Consent: Always ask for permission before including other members or staff in your footage.
  4. Social Media Etiquette: If you choose to share still or video imagery in The Warehouse Gym on social media platforms, we expect you to respect the privacy of others. Do not post or tag anyone without their explicit consent. Please block or blur anyone in the background of your still or video imagery.
  5. Resharing of Tags: We will not reshare any stories or posts tagging us on social media where other people are in the background, as we cannot verify their consent to be shared on our social media platform. Please be mindful of this when tagging us in your stories or posts.
  6. By following these guidelines, you contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable, and enjoy their experience at The Warehouse Gym without compromising their privacy.
