The Warehouse Gym Mervue – the original home of our community since 2013 – has officially undergone its largest expansion to date. Already known as one of the best gyms in Galway, our Mervue location has now doubled in size, growing into a 20,000+ square foot fitness facility designed to offer more space, more equipment, and an even better training experience for every member.

This major upgrade saw The Warehouse Gym Mervue take over the unit next door, allowing us to expand our layout, upgrade equipment, and introduce brand-new areas dedicated to strength training, Hyrox, conditioning, and recovery.

Kickstarting Our Expansion Weekend: Free Day Passes + Red Bull Gym Clash

To celebrate the expansion, we’re kicking things off with a massive community weekend:

Free Day Passes – Sunday, 30th November

Whether you want to explore the new machines, test the Hyrox zone, or simply see the upgrades, everyone is welcome.

We’re proud to host the first Red Bull Gym Clash ever held in Ireland, with the Connacht Regional Qualifier taking place right here in Mervue.

A Bigger, Better Warehouse Gym Mervue – What’s New?

Twice the Size – Now 20,000+ Sq Ft

By replacing the business next door and fully integrating the unit into the existing gym, Mervue is now more than double its previous size, offering significantly more room for training during peak hours and accommodating a larger equipment range.

We’ve invested heavily in upgrading and expanding our equipment, including:

• New squat racks

Everything you need for performance and recovery is now available in-house.

Upgraded Changing Facilities

We’ve added completely new women’s changing rooms and bathrooms with modern, spacious finishes. The men’s changing rooms are next – with a full refurbishment planned for January.

Our Longest-Standing Gym – Now Stronger Than Ever

Mervue has always been at the heart of The Warehouse Gym. As our longest-standing location, it represents our commitment to continually improving the facilities we offer. This 2025 expansion marks our biggest investment yet – and it ensures that Mervue remains one of the largest and most advanced gyms in Galway.
